Race Hard Events, Events Management and Promotions in the Yorkshire Area.

Congratulations to all who took part in todays Doncaster Triathlon race. We hope a good day was had by all. Thank you to all the volunteers who made this possible. A fantastic performance by Kevin Dawson won the men's race by almost 3 minutes and posted a course bike record taking this title by a spectacular 7 MINUTES! The women's race was won by Emilie Verroken who in the end had a very comfortable lead of about 20 minutes!

Next year's race will be held on the 2nd September and entries will be open at the end of October.... Put the date in your diary! If you fancy a shorter challenge the 13th annual Hatfield Trithlon sprint distance will be held on July 29th.

Doncaster Triathlon 2011 is now only just over a week away. We are keeping entries open to Thursday 22nd September, you still have chance to enter! Race instructions have now been uploaded to the site and can be found HERE. We will have a Charted Physiotherapist offering sports massage before and after the race, see race information for full details.

Due to last minute issue we have had to move the course to Hatfield water park. It will still be a standard distance race with a 1.5km swim, 41km bike and a 10km run. We used this exact course in 2004 when we ran the World fire fighter games triathlon here! The course is pancake flat and should produce some very quick times! It's with sadness due to lack of entries we have had to call a stop to the True Grit 12Hr MTB Enduro. We have invested heavily into this event on advertisement in major magazines but simple have had very little entries. We were prepared to run the event with as little as 100 people racing but currently have 10!! We are sorry for having to cancelled the event. We will look at the event over the winter to see if its possible to run in a different way next year! If you have any ideas please let us know and we will take them into account.
